This is 34...

It’s wild how much life can change in a year. 33 was most definitely a challenging year while also being incredibly rewarding. Living on the road was most definitely not the easiest, but it allowed me to have some great opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise. The list could go on and on but here’s a few:

  • Visit my 50th state!

  • 6 new National Parks

  • 4 Utah State Parks

  • New friends in multiple states

  • Became an Ambassador for Athletic Brewing

  • Not scaring away Alex Ingram with my weirdness

  • Spending a lot more time outdoors

  • Witnessing one of my best friend’s marry the man of her dreams

  • Capturing all the wildlife on camera

  • Create a wild immersive art experience & blow people’s minds showing it

  • Getting Avalanche Safety level 1 certified

  • Becoming a way better mountain biker

  • Moving to Utah

  • Exploring Southern Utah with some of my best friends

  • Brought back the mohawk 😉

Honestly… Sitting here trying to write this blog post made me realize just how much life I was able to live throughout the past year. There’s been so many amazing memories with friends that I could literally write a book just from the age 33. It’s funny to think about because for so long I’ve looked at years based off client projects I’ve done & wild expeditions… but this past year’s best memories were smaller personal moments that upon reflection really just bring joy. Personal achievements I’d wanted to do for years like visiting all 50 states which I said I wanted to do by the age of 30, but kept putting off because “work” was more important.

Life is most definitely different than it was a year ago… but in all honesty. I love it and wouldn’t change a thing. While work has still been slow… i’ve definitely been taking advantage of life moments & cherishing time with friends. What does 34 have in store? I have no clue, but I’m excited to find out.
