Episode 17 | Mike Ballman

One of the things which stands out most about Mike is his willingness to discuss his personal struggles. As the father of a son with an incredibly rare genetic disease, he has spent a lot of time & money caring for his family on top of doing his job. It has also cost him jobs, community, and more… while at the same time helping him find that caring for those who need the most assistance are the people he should serve. He is an incredible advocate for the homeless of Utica, and works to help reduce the homelessness epidemic in his community.
