The Year of The Covid...

2020… The year of the Covid… What the heck am I doing now?!

Here we are… all at home… binging all the Netflix we can imagine (Money Heist, anyone?!).

It took a bit of time to mentally recover from the absolute chaos which was getting home from Africa, as borders began shutting down & flights were getting cancelled left & right. This combined with work getting cancelled was a huge blow to the noggin.

Thankfully, I’ve been able to keep some sort of resemblance to my usual morning routine even if it means zoom call work outs, news & Youtube instead of Sportscenter, and being way ahead of schedule without having to drive to the gym. 

As for work… welp… like many people that’s come to a halt (for the most part). This time has been a great opportunity to re-vamp things and bring to the front some ideas I’d had but kept on the back burner for “some day”….

What does that mean?

Well, on top of the regular Youtube, Instagram, and blog posts I’ll be bringing in some livestream conversations… both about projects I’ve worked on & live post-production while answering questions about it all.

Also, I’m working on bringing print sales live along with some merch that will help support the NGOs I’ve partnered with in the past as well!

Covid has given me some new opportunities to connect via video chats with others in the field, and catch up with friends located all around the world. I never expected to substitute coffee shop chats with Zoom/FT/Google Hangouts.  Anyone been called in an “emergency” situation to explain online platforms to your parents or grandparents? Lots of extra patience required for the tech savvy during this time!
