I’m not one of those people who has all sorts of bucket list items. I’ve done a lot in the last 33 years and quite frankly my list only really had 2 items on it… Visit all 50 states along with all 7 continents. The former… I’ve been oh so close for years and yet put it off for oh so long.

To seriously ask yourself in a moment “is this how I am going to die?” is a very serious and adrenaline pumping thought process… while not really being able to process it at all in that moment.

You could say… I had a weeeee bit of a close call with a big fella while on trail.

As I sit here reflecting on the last lap around the sun it’s definitely been… an unexpected roller coaster. There’s been some incredible high moments along with some really tough low moments.

32 was a blur. It started off dealing with an idiotic landlord who had no idea what he could legally do as a landlord… and it finished with me sitting in a camper van I built myself out in Utah starting to figure out what’s next.
