It’s funny where a random idea will take you, even when you’re at home bored. One rainy day early in Covid quarantine, I was planning on making ramen for dinner & decided to quickly pickle a shallot for a couple hours… just out of curiosity. It’s something I’d had at restaurants but never tried making at home.

It’s been a mental rollercoaster since getting back from Africa in March. Initially trying to wrap my head around when international travel will start again along with what to do so I can pay bills in the mean time was intense. I found myself playing more VR games to pass the time because it got me moving a bit as well… Then one day while playing Bait I started laughing at how funny it would be to dress like the stereotypical “fisherman” while playing.
